Your pool water level may be too low, turn your pool pump off and fill your pool with water until it is half way up the waterline tile.
After your pool is filled with water you can turn the pump back on, be sure to open the air relief on the filter to release pressure. Once water comes out of the air relief, close it tightly and observe your pool equipment for leaks.
If no leaks are detected, you may be losing water to natural evaporation.

Your Pool Filter should be replaced at least once every 12 months. Nobody wants to swim in dirty pool water, a clean pool filter pulls tiny particles out of the water. Over time your pool filter becomes clogged even after a thorough cleaning. If your pool filter is very heavy and starting to fall apart, you may be due for a Filter Replacement.

The white buildup coming out of your pool tile or floor is often calcium buildup due to an improper chemical balance or temperature change.
If you have a raised spa, you may notice a white substance building up where your spa spills over. This buildup is a combination of unbalanced chemicals and a temperature change caused by the water sticking to and drying on the tile.
